Your Journey

For Understanding Archetypes

Welcome to your 6 day journey of self-discovery through the lens of archetypes.

This journey is designed to help you explore the patterns of a chosen archetype and understand how its energies show up in your life. By recognizing and balancing these energies, you’ll cultivate a more aligned and sustainable way of being.

We recommend focusing on one step per day. This pacing allows time for reflection, integration, and deeper awareness. Each day, you’ll be guided through a small but powerful practice that builds on the previous one, creating a steady path of transformation.

To get starting, choose an Archetype from the Archetype Library to explore for the week. This archetype will serve as your focus, helping you notice its patterns in your thoughts, behaviours, and choices.

Throughout your journey, keep in mind Archai’s 3 A’s: Awareness, Acceptance, and Action. These three guideposts will support you each day, helping you notice patterns, embrace them with compassion, and take conscious steps toward balance and growth.

Awareness

Awareness is the starting point of transformation.
Here, you begin observing how your chosen archetype expresses itself in your daily life, without judgment. This might include:

  • Recognizing repeating patterns in your behaviour.
  • Noticing when the archetype is balanced (supporting you) or unbalanced (limiting you).
  • Paying attention to how this archetype influences your relationships, work, and inner dialogue.

By shining a light on these patterns, you bring them from the unconscious into the conscious, where change becomes possible.

Acceptance

Once you become aware, the next step is acceptance.
Acceptance is not about condoning or resigning to your patterns; it’s about meeting them with compassion and curiosity. This includes:

  • Acknowledging that every archetype has polar energies, strengths and shadows that are both valuable teachers.
  • Letting go of self-judgment or resistance, and instead embracing the wholeness of your experience.
  • Recognizing that your archetypes are part of your growth, not mistakes to be “fixed.”

Acceptance softens resistance, creating space for true transformation.

Action

Action turns insight into embodied change.
Here, you begin experimenting with conscious choices that bring your archetype into greater balance. Examples include:

  • Practicing new behaviors that align with your empowered expression.
  • Setting boundaries or creating rituals that honor your archetype’s healthy energy.
  • Shifting from reactive patterns to intentional responses.

Small, consistent actions compound over time, helping you live in alignment with your authentic self.

Day 1

Discovering Your Archetype's Identity

Theme: Recognizing your core patterns.

Begin by reading the introduction and reflection questions for your chosen archetype.

  • How many of these questions did you resonate with? In a journal, thoughtfully answer top questions you resonated with. The goal is not to judge your answers but to observe how consistently these themes have appeared throughout your life.

  • Review your journal entries. Identify two or three key life moments where your chosen archetype's instincts were the primary driver of your actions.
  • Read the "Key Characteristics", "Fears" and "Best Self" sections for your archetype. Highlight or note down the points that resonate most deeply with you.

Day 2

Mapping Your Energetic Expression

Theme: Understanding how you give and receive energy.

Read the sections on "Expanding & Contracting Energies" and the "Energetic Blueprint" for your archetype.

  • Reflect on which of the three expressions feels most familiar to you: Primarily Expanded, Primarily Contracted, or Swinging Between Both.

  • Journal about a recent time you felt energetically unbalanced in relation to this archetype (e.g., burnout, resentment, withdrawal). How did this feeling manifest in your thoughts and actions?
  • Identify one common trigger that tends to push your energy out of balance.

Day 3

Identifying Your Key Life Categories

Theme: Seeing where your chosen archetype shows up most.

Carefully read the "Journey Through Life Categories" section for your archetype.

  • Identify the top two areas (e.g., Relationships, Resources, Ego & Identity) where its energy is most active.
  • For these two categories, write down a specific example of an "Unbalanced Expression" you have experienced. Then, imagine and write down what a "Balanced Expression" might look and feel like in that same area.
  • Remind yourself that awareness is the first step toward change. Acknowledge your courage in looking at these patterns honestly.

Day 4

Taking One Small, Balanced Step

Theme: Practicing a new way of being.

Review the "Balancing Tips" for your primary energetic expression.

  • Choose one tip that feels the most manageable and relevant for you to practice today.
  • Consciously apply your chosen tip throughout the day.
  • In the Evening or following morning journal about your experience. How did it feel to take this action? What challenges, emotions, or insights arose?

Day 5

Creating a Practice

Theme: Committing to a sustainable practice.

Look back through your journal from the past week.

  • Acknowledge how much you have learned. Identify the single most important insight you've gained about your archetype.
  • Reflect upon how awareness of your Archetype might support you moving forward?

  • Choose one balancing tip from your archetype's guide that you will continue to practice in the week ahead. True change comes from small, consistent actions over time.

Day 6

Integration and Moving Forward

Theme: Living your archetypes every day.

Integration is not a one-time reflection, it’s an ongoing practice of bringing your archetypes into daily life.

  • Continue to cultivate awareness, the more you move behaviours from the unconscious into the conscious. Over time, you’ll begin to notice your patterns in real time, giving you the freedom to choose how you respond rather than falling back into old habits.
  • By becoming familiar with the strengths and shadows of different archetypes, you can call on the right one for each situation, whether it’s courage, compassion, creativity, or discernment.

As you continue this practice day by day, your archetypes become less like labels and more like living resources. You weave their wisdom into your choices, your relationships, and the way you move through the world.
